As we continue to grow, we're looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Manager to help us maintain and elevate our quality standards while contributing to an engaged, high-performing workplace.

The Quality Assurance Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring our products, processes, and systems meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You'll lead our Quality Management System, coach QA staff, support audits, and drive process improvement across the organisation.

This is a hands-on role that will have you partnering closely with Production, Product Development and Customer Care to keep standards high, solve problems early, and embed a strong quality culture across the business.

  • Lead and enhance Knotwood's Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation, strong corrective actions and continuous compliance.
  • Monitor production processes, perform root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions.
  • Review customer feedback and product data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop quality procedures, training materials and workflows to uplift team capability.
  • Mentor and support QA staff to build consistency, performance, and ownership.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Product Development and Customer Care to ensure quality at every stage.
  • Support compliance, risk assessments and regulatory requirements across manufacturing operations.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 2–3+ years' experience in Quality Assurance or Compliance (manufacturing strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001, quality systems and Australian Standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation accuracy
  • The ability to build positive working relationships across departments
  • Desirable: auditing qualifications or experience in aluminium, fabrication or powder coating
