The Opportunity

As our new Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for resolving customer quality issues and managing quality planning and control processes in line with standards such as APQP, PPAP, AS9100, ISO9001, and IATF You'll prepare reports, maintain documentation, and guide the QC team in problem-solving. Your role will also involve supporting new product development, assisting with customer audits, improving quality systems, and driving process improvements across the business, including support for Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) and compliance with NADCAP and ITAR requirements.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Ideally you will have a formal Engineering Qualification however this is a not a requirement of the role.
  • Ideally you will also have a comprehensive understanding of quality management systems AS9100, ISO9001, IATF 16949 and Knowledge of Problem solving, Root Cause Analysis
  • Comprehensive APQP process knowledge and experience working with CAD and AutoCAD.
  • Competent in 6 Sigma methodologies
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation
  • Ability to perform internal process Audits (desirable)
  • Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills
