The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Building Designer to become a valued member of our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects across Tasmania while continuing to grow and develop in a supportive environment. If you are a team-oriented individual with a passion for design and a proactive mindset, we want to hear from you.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who brings experience, initiative, and a willingness to learn. You will work closely with our senior designers and consultants, contributing to the successful delivery of a wide range of architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed design documentation for residential and commercial projects
  • Collaborate with consultants, clients, and internal team members
  • Support senior designers on various design and documentation tasks
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and processes
  • Adhere to company procedures and project workflows

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2 years' experience in a similar role is desirable

  • Relevant qualification such as:

  • Bachelor of Environmental Design

  • Bachelor of Architecture & Built Environments
  • Diploma of Building Design
  • Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable
  • Competence with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to learn management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
  • Willing to work with systems and procedures
