About the opportunity:
The Interior Design Assistant works closely with the Interior Design Consultants and reports to the MyChoice Studio Manager and is part of the MyChoice Studio team. The key focus of this role is to assist Interior Design Consultants and management with administrative duties, including supporting presentation of plans and the selection of external, internal, and electrical choices to customers build their dream home. More specifically, you will:

• Welcome stakeholders into the studio, delivering client satisfaction through preparation of food and beverages in the MyChoice Café.

• Collaborate with wider team during client appointments, ensuring consultants are set up successfully to provide an outstanding service to clients

• Support the Interior Design Consultants by handling administrative tasks for appointment preparation, conduct various appointments with clients.

• Ad-hoc duties in the Studio including monitoring, and managing inventory levels, ordering essential items, and ensuring timely restocking.

• Assist with hosting Customer Information Evenings, VIP nights & Expo Days. 

About you:
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:

• Currently studying or completed a Diploma of Interior Decoration and Design or similar

• A willingness to develop a strong understanding of design aesthetic and conceptual skills

• Commitment to providing excellence in customer service and strong communication skills

• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong record keeping, planning and organising

• Desire to build a long terms career in Interior Design 

• A commitment to working as one team

• Ability to work full time between Monday – Friday with flexibility to work Saturdays
