This is more than a compliance role; it's a chance to shape culture, build capability, and take our people with you on a path toward excellence. You'll work closely with senior leadership to create the safety vision and strategy for the business, embedding a safety-first mindset across all levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities of the role:
- Based in Melbourne, you will lead and develop a HSEQ operations team across VIC, NSW & QLD

- Drive capability uplift within the safety team and across the organisation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and continuous improvement in maintenance of HSEQ systems
- Risk management including safety in design, high-risk activity workshops, SWMS, SOPs, and PPE
- Identify training needs and where required, organise and deliver training, provide on the job coaching to ensure all staff understand current policies and procedures.
- Monitor, analyse and report on key HSEQ performance indicators to measure effectiveness of plans
- Support the strategic rollout of standardised systems and practices across our sites
- Oversee and manage Workcover claims from lodgement through to resolution, liaising with insurers, medical providers, and employees to ensure timely and accurate case management
About you
You're not just a safety professional; you're a change agent. You thrive in environments where you can influence culture, build trust, and make a lasting impact. You're comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels, and you know how to bring people along on the journey.
