About us

Cara Derma is a results-driven skin, laser, and cosmetic clinic that focuses on building long-term relationships with our clients. We educate our clients and provide effective treatment solutions; in a relaxing and professional boutique setting. Our therapists receive regular and consistent training to ensure a high level of knowledge and safety compliance.

Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum Diploma of Beauty Therapy
  • Laser Safety Officer Certificate
  • Current QLD Use Licence for Laser Hair Removal is a must
  • Prior DMK knowledge is an advantage
  • Passion for education; this role requires intensive training and knowledge requirements
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be available Thursday until 7pm, Friday and Saturdays
  • Position is for approximately 34 hours per week. Negotiable for the right candidate

This role requires a current Use Licence for Laser Hair Removal. Applicants who fail to appear on the QLD Health Radiation Use Licence - Public Register will not be selected to progress further.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Perform advanced skin and laser treatments, using medically endorsed equipment; working within safe parameters, and adhering to the clinic's personalised protocols and framework
  • Perform skin consultations and accurate skin analysis
  • Providing treatment solutions for client's concerns with confidence
  • Educating clients on skincare, treatments, and prescribing products to accelerate results
  • Building a client following through rebooking and client follow-ups
  • The day-to-day running of the clinic including reception tasks, social media interactions, and supporting the clinic manager and colleagues
  • Build and maintain the integrity of the business's reputation through exceptional customer service and delivering thorough and exquisite treatments to clients
