We are seeking multiple dedicated and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our growing team across two key regions:

  • Brisbane, QLD
  • Gold Coast South, QLD

About the Role

Your primary focus will be on providing person-centred support that promotes independence, choice, and community participation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Social & Community Engagement: Happily support participants to attend social events, community activities, appointments, and outings. A love for getting out and about is a must
  • Personalised Support: Assisting with daily living tasks, which may include personal care, meal preparation, medication prompting, and domestic duties.
  • Skill Development: Encouraging participants to develop new skills and achieve their personal goals.
  • Positive Communication: Maintaining clear, professional, and cheerful communication with participants, their families, and our team.
  • Documentation: Accurate and timely record-keeping of support provided.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bubbly & Engaging Personality: You bring positive energy to every interaction and easily build rapport.
  • Proven Passion: A deep-seated enthusiasm for working in the disability sector and genuinely improving others' quality of life.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work a rotating roster, which may include mornings, afternoons, weekends and sleepovers.

  • Essential Requirements:

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent (highly regarded but not essential if you have relevant experience).
  • Minimum 1-year previous experience.
