About The Role
As a
Home Claims Validator
at Allianz, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the cost control, performance, and relationship management of our network of building and trade partners within the Insurance Repairs sector. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, Home & Easy Living, your focus will be on validating claims, managing scope accuracy, and driving cost control measures while maintaining exceptional service standards.
In this role, you'll also work closely with building and trade partners, ensuring they meet required KPIs related to timelines, cost, customer service, and scope accuracy.
*Key Responsibilities
Client Accountabilities:*
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication, relationship building, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with trades to ensure observations and actions are communicated effectively via photos and written reports.
- Actively engage with the network to improve scope accuracy and pricing precision.
- Manage Work Health and Safety (WHS) activities for the network, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
- Negotiate and validate scope, method, and pricing in line with industry standards and benchmarks.
- Source competitive quotes while adhering to budget constraints and client expectations.
- Establish and maintain a quality control system to verify the accuracy of repairs and estimates.
Financial Accountabilities
- Negotiate pricing with builders and trade partners in alignment with the Home Network Strategy.
- Monitor industry-standard pricing and repair costs, identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
- Ensure proper billing of clients and accurate payment of repair costs.
Repair Management
- Monitor the validity of claims, ensuring compliance and cost containment.
- Coach builders in report writing, scope submission, and documentation requirements.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives within all appropriate situations.
What You Bring
- Trade Qualification: Preferably in carpentry.
- Estimating Experience: Essential background in construction estimating.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles.
- Property Claims Experience: Previous property claims management experience is an advantage.
- Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all business levels.
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements in the building industry.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
