The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join the finance team of this respected global brand. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and maintain comprehensive accounting records, including journals, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations across all General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Manage inventory accounting processes, including the set-up of new stock codes, adjustments to stock balances, and review of inventory valuations.
  • Lead the month-end close process and deliver accurate financial reports and dashboards to management in a timely manner.
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by providing input, assumptions, trend analysis, and variance commentary.
  • Execute financial reporting to support corporate performance review and decision-making.
  • Prepare VAT reconciliations and ensure all indirect tax obligations are submitted and recorded correctly.
  • Act as a key liaison for external stakeholders including auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial agents.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial projects and process improvement initiatives, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting
  • 3–5 years' relevant accounting or finance experience
  • Experience with Epicor software is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
