You will bring DevOps and Terraform experience to complex enterprise environments that are deeply reliant on Azure DevOps and Terraform to drive business outcomes. You will be responsible for working closely with customers to provide a high touch managed services partnership model and ensure a great customer experience.
Skills and experiences
· Tertiary qualifications and/or Azure certifications
· Proven experience in the design, build and automation of Azure services, platforms, tools and patterns
· Advanced knowledge and experience building IaC with Terraform at scale
· Demonstrated experience using DevOps automation tools including Azure DevOps and Terraform
· Experience developing CI/CD pipelines
· Strong scripting skills (Powershell, Python, Bash etc)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with business stakeholders
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Your experience lies in Managed Services focusing on Azure platform and infrastructure cloud support.
· You are experienced across a variety of technologies that may include; Azure architecture and implementation, including Azure Active Directory, IaaS and PaaS solutions, Network, Storage, Security and more.
· Experience working with configuration management and infrastructure orchestration tools primarily Terraform.
· Experience with incident response and security-focused mindset
· Able to build automated deployments using infrastructure-as-code cutting edge technologies
· You will also seek to continually improve our clients' environments though evergreen practices and platform evolution.
About you
- You will be an Australian Citizen (preferably with existing security clearance).
- You have good communication and interpersonal skills that will enable you to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute effectively to our Managed Services organization.
- You will also possess analytical and problem-solving skills enabling you to be creative and innovative in the support of our clients.
What you'll do
Key Responsibilities:
· Support, deploy, upgrade, and manage cloud infrastructure and hosted applications.
· Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for deployment and infrastructure management.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, and integration layers.
· Monitor system performance, availability, security, and compliance using industry-standard tools.
· Participate in on-call support rotation and incident response. (Allowance paid)
· Contribute to infrastructure planning and the implementation of new systems or upgrades.
· Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to integrate DevOps best practices.
· Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and incident resolutions.
