GRIT is searching for a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimise Microsoft Azure environments that support business-critical initiatives. This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions, using Azure-native services, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automation for reliable, high-quality deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures.
  • Provision and manage Azure resources (compute, networking, storage, identity, monitoring).
  • Build and maintain IaC templates (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
  • Automate operations with PowerShell, Python, and Azure Automation.
  • Apply Azure security, IAM, and compliance standards.
  • Optimise cloud performance and costs, and provide L3 Azure support.
  • Partner with teams to ensure infrastructure meets application needs.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong expertise across Microsoft Azure services and monitoring tools.
  • Hands-on with IaC and Azure DevOps automation.
  • Knowledge of RBAC, identity, and network security controls.
  • Exposure to AKS, containers, and API management desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Microsoft Azure certifications highly regarded (e.g., Solutions Architect Expert, Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Additional certifications in cloud security, IaC, or DevOps are desirable.
  • Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
