A Day in the Life of a Community Support Worker

Every day at Found in Friendship Care Services is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

You'll empower participants by assisting with daily routines and supporting their independence through a person-centred approach. Tasks may include:

  • Meal preparation and household chores
  • Personal care
  • Accompanying participants to appointments, community activities, and shopping
  • Encouraging social connection and companionship
  • Keeping accurate records of activities and progress

Requirements

To join our team, you'll need:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (current or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude, strong values, and the ability to contribute positively to our team culture
  • Full working rights in Australia
