A Day in the Life of a Community Support Worker
Every day at Found in Friendship Care Services is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
You'll empower participants by assisting with daily routines and supporting their independence through a person-centred approach. Tasks may include:
- Meal preparation and household chores
- Personal care
- Accompanying participants to appointments, community activities, and shopping
- Encouraging social connection and companionship
- Keeping accurate records of activities and progress
Requirements
To join our team, you'll need:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (current or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid Certificate
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude, strong values, and the ability to contribute positively to our team culture
- Full working rights in Australia
