The Position
Assist with the maintenance and development of the streets, drains, parks, reserves, and landscapes within the City of Albury area.

  • Base rate of $31 per hour up to $36 per hour based on compentenacy and experience in the role.
  • Plus $50.43 per week adverse working conditions allowance
  • Working 38 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO

Qualifications & experience
  • Medium Rigid Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
  • Construction Induction Card
  • Apply Traffic Control Plans & Traffic Controller Certification (Yellow & Blue Card) or equivalent certification
  • Relevant experience working in a civil maintenance environment
Tasks & responsibilities
  • Assist in all operations of early morning cleansing of business districts, including sweeper operation and bin emptying
  • Assist in the maintenance of the streets, drains, parks, reserves, lawn cemeteries, sporting grounds and landscape areas of Albury City.
  • Assist in development projects within the Albury City streets, drains, parks, reserves, cemeteries and landscape areas.
  • Use skills to assist other areas of the Engineering Group.
  • Use all plant and equipment in a safe and competent manner.

Hours
Based on a 38 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 3.00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
