As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Albury - Pemberton Street, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In This Role, You Will

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

About Goodsart Albury - Pemberton Street

Goodstart Albury - Pemberton Street is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Assistant Director to join our passionate team of educators. Located just a short drive from central Albury and nestled near a spacious park, our Centre offers a refreshing escape into nature—perfect for a lunchtime walk. With six rooms and a team of 24 educators, including four ECTs, two Diploma-qualified room leaders, and a mix of experienced and studying educators, we pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be placed in a room and work set shifts with rosters provided three weeks in advance. While we offer two hours of non-contact time weekly. We value trust, respect, and open communication, encouraging every team member to share their ideas and perspectives.
