About the role:

  • Deliver engaging training in a classroom-based environment in accordance with CHARLTON BROWN Scope of Registration.
  • Collation, revision and assessment of written and practical course work, including recording and management of student files to a standard required by audit guidelines.
  • Preparation of learning materials, course resources and the classroom environment ready for training delivery.
  • Industry networking and maintenance of currency.
  • Maintaining effective working relationship

About the applicant/s:

The ideal candidate/s will be a person who thrives in a dynamic team environment and has extensive experience in the fast-paced education environment providing quality training and assessment services to multi-cultural groups of students.

About the role:

  • Deliver engaging training
  • Support students to meet assessment submission due dates
  • General support for students with course questions and information
  • Mark and assess student assessment submissions and provide the required feedback meeting KPIs
  • Work with the liaison team member in reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Collation, revision and assessment of written and practical course work, including recording and management of student files to a standard required by audit guidelines within the Student Management System
  • Preparation of learning materials, course resources and the classroom environment ready for training delivery.
  • Practical placement coordination and supervision.
  • Industry networking and maintenance of currency.
  • Maintaining an effective working relationship with employers and vocational placement organizations.

Qualifications

Position:

  • BS50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management
  • Certificate IV in TAE40116 or TAE40122

Experience:

  • Recent experience as a Trainer and Assessor - minimum 3 years
  • Industry currency

  • Self-managed and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outcome focused and professional

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong PC skills - email, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation preparation and industry specific applications (preferred)
  • Proven ability to build relationships
  • Develop and deliver information to diverse range of students and customers
