About the role

We are seeking a talented Ceiling & Partition Estimator to join our dynamic team at best interior pty ltd in Coopers Plains, Queensland. As a full-time Ceiling & Partition Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our construction projects by providing accurate and detailed cost estimates. What you'll be doing

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for ceiling and partition installation projects
  • Analyze construction plans, drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements and labour costs
  • Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely estimates
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and cost fluctuations to provide the most competitive estimates
  • Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and proposals
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of all estimating activities
  • Provide support to the construction team during the project execution phase

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Ceiling & Partition Estimator in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and equipment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to perform accurate cost calculations
  • Familiarity with construction estimating software and tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensure project success
