Position overview

Joining an ambitious and values driven team, this position provides an opportunity to make a significant contribution to grow and shape the personal insurance division of HPW.

You will be able to leverage existing referral networks and marketing initiatives to generate high quality insurance leads. You will also be responsible for providing full risk advice to new and existing clients with the support of the insurance team.

A large focus of the role is business development and building referral relationships is key to your success. It requires you generate new business opportunities from your own networks and relationships with significant support from the broader advice team at HPW.

Whilst HPW have existing insurance clients that require managing, the focus of this role is on new business, and building a book of their own ongoing clients.

Position requirements

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • RG146 compliant or Advanced Diploma
  • At least 3-5 years working within a Risk Specialist role within the Financial Planning industry
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and requirement
  • Ability to explain complex insurance concepts and principles in an easy to understand way.
