Director of Managed Services

About the Role:
As the Director of Managed Services, you'll oversee end-to-end delivery of our Managed Services portfolio, ensuring operational excellence, service transformation, and business growth. You'll lead high-performing teams, manage key stakeholder relationships, and drive strategic outcomes aligned with our clients' evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute operational strategies focused on exceptional client experience and service quality.
- Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs and service obligations.
- Lead financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Champion a culture of service excellence, transparency, and client partnership.
- Monitor KPIs and implement service improvement plans.
- Act as an escalation point for major issues, resolving them with professionalism and speed.
- Collaborate across internal delivery and technical teams to ensure cohesive operations.
- Identify and implement new service models that enhance value and efficiency.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in senior leadership of managed services within complex IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and full IT service lifecycle best practices.
- Demonstrated success in meeting SLAs and improving service performance.
- Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimisation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.
- Passion for customer service and strategic partnership building.
- Ability to lead through change and deliver transformation outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal qualifications in Information Technology are advantageous but not essential.
