Job Description

In this Full-Time, fixed-term role for 12 months, based in Richmond, you will be responsible for optimising the Epworth Centre for Immunotherapies and Snowdome Laboratories (the Centre's) business operations. You will be part of the ECISL team and report to ECISL Research Program Manager.

You will make an impact by:

  • Driving effective financial management
  • Ensuring a sustainable budget for ongoing 'Centre' activities
  • Developing strong relationships with key third-party providers supporting Centre operations
  • Maintaining cost-effective provision of all goods and services to meet the needs of the clinical and research teams

To be successful in this role:

To be successful in this Financial Analyst role, candidates must bring a blend of technical proficiency and excellent communication skills. This role requires analytical thinking, the ability to break down complex data and make logical decisions. You are required to be comfortable interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data. Your attention to detail including financial models, forecasts and reports will rely on accuracy. All finding will need to be clearly presented to stakeholders many of whom are not financial experts. You will have strong writing skills and effective verbal skills for presentations. You will be adaptable, flexible and have excellent time management skills. Lastly, we expect ethical judgement and integrity.

You will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, operations management
  • Management experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Strong customer focus
  • Financial modeling and forecasting
  • Interpreting financial data to support business decisions and identify risks/opportunities
