**About the opportunity**
The **Marketing Commercial Analyst** is responsible for supporting the development of the marketing budget aligned to our Post26 Enterprise Strategy, Marketing strategy and key priorities. This role is key in supporting the planning of our marketing function, managing appropriate funding allocations, and assisting to drive a more commercially minded Marketing team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Strategy Planning and Performance, you will oversee vendor management including contracts, reporting and relationship management for all suppliers across the marketing function.
You will work closely with the leadership teams of both marketing functions to actively manage marketing spend across the Centre of Excellence and ensure that when required we are able to pivot spend as priorities change.
**You’ll also**
- Ensure alignment between the Marketing budgets and marketing’s key strategic priorities.
- Embed strong financial governance and reporting practices across the marketing teams
- Support the improvement of marketing teams with regards to campaign budget management and month end/forecast processes, including support and training
- Support the oversight of all major agency vendor contracts, tenders and budgets
- Manage relationship with Finance team to ensure reporting is aligned to Enterprise structures
- Accountable for finance deliverables including budget, quarterly forecasts, month end landing position and commentary
- Design and develop fit for purpose financial reporting for Marketing leadership team and campaign managers as required
**About you**
We are looking for a dynamic individual, able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. You will have a strong background in reporting and analytics and comfortable managing financial data with the ability to make and articulate decisions.
**You’ll also need**
- Experience in managing a budget, accruals and reporting
- Previous experience in Marketing or in a Commercial Analyst type role
- Ability to work at times, within an ambiguous environment and mange changing priorities
- Ability to independently progress individual areas of work
