We're currently on the hunt for our next Paraplanner due to an increase in workload. If you're up for the challenge, this is the role that will define your career.

About Us:

Burcheart is built on a strategy-first mindset, deep relationships, and a culture that actually walks the talk. Our team of three advisers, supported by a powerhouse back-office and outsourced SOA team, create customised financial strategies for clients across all life stages.

About You:

You're hungry to learn. You challenge assumptions. You dream in Excel formulas and financial planning software tools. And most importantly, you care deeply about helping clients make confident, informed decisions.

What You'll Do:
  • Dive deep into Burcheart's unique advice methodology
  • Collaborate with a close-knit team (that's got your back)
  • Create and model tailored strategies across cashflow, super, risk, SMSF, property and investments, retirement planning, aged care and estate planning
  • Use your cashflow mastery and lateral thinking to deliver out-of-the-box advice scenarios to help clients reach their goals
  • Embrace and contribute to our tech stack
  • Stay across industry rules, caps and the ever-evolving financial landscape
  • Write and develop Strategy Considerations and Statement of Advice documents
What We're Looking For:
  • Critical - Minimum 2 years' experience in a paraplanning role
  • Strong knowledge of financial strategies including Investments, Superannuation, and Retirement Planning.
  • Exposure to SMSFs, Aged Care, Gearing, and Social Security (highly regarded).
  • Relevant qualifications (Degree in Business, Economics, Commerce, or Diploma of Financial Planning).
  • A paraplanner wanting to master your craft – or someone looking to step up into advice in the future
  • Plutosoft experience (highly regarded) or are a fast learner typically Xplan trained
  • Detail-obsessed and process-driven, but not afraid to shake things up
  • High attention to detail with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A team player who works hard and celebrates wins harder
  • Passionate about long-term client outcomes, not just ticking compliance boxes
