The Opportunity

St Mary MacKillop School, Wallaroo, is seeking a dynamic and faith-filled leader to serve as Principal, guiding our vibrant and growing Reception to Year 9 Catholic school community. Located in the picturesque Copper Coast region, 160km north of Adelaide, our school is founded in the Josephite tradition and inspired by the legacy of St Mary MacKillop and Fr Julian Tenison Woods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and enhance the Catholic identity and mission of the school.
  • Lead high-quality teaching and learning aligned with the Living Learning Leading Framework.

  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement through strategic planning and evidence-based practices.
  • Ensure effective stewardship of resources, including financial, human, and physical assets.
  • Champion child safety and wellbeing across all aspects of school life.
  • Collaborate with diocesan and system leaders to contribute to broader educational excellence.
