ABOUT THE ROLE:

Components Fitter- 7/7 roster

  • Full time position
  • 7/7 Roster Day shift only (Home every night)
  • 12 hour shifts
  • Pinjarra Workshop Based
  • Super Paid on all hours worked
  • Competitive Rates
  • Overtime available

Role duties may include, but are not limited to;

  • Dismantle & rebuild components to the highest standard possible, focusing on quality & finish.
  • Work with products including but not limited to, transmissions, torque converters, differentials, final drive wheel ends, drakes, up boxes, drop boxes, dog bones, loader frames & arms.
  • Be active in a team environment identifying hazards & improvements to procedures to increase efficiency.
  • Oversee apprentices under your supervision and coach and mentor as needed.
  • Oversee TA's, assisting where required with experience & guidance.
  • Follow all component rebuild section procedures & leading hand direction.
  • Participate in & complete all training as requested.
  • Maintain currency of all high-risk licenses & certificates as required.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification/s
  • Previous experience component rebuilding- Dana, CAT, Kessler
  • Experience in the overhaul & repair of Transmissions, Final Drives, Diff, Torque Converters and wheel groups, Hydraulic components
  • Demonstrate experience UG mining equipment- Sandvik, Cat, Epiroc
  • Previous mining experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Current driver's licence
  • National police clearance
  • Ability to pass a full medical. The successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made.
