MPI are currently seeking experienced Fixed Plant Fitters to join our client's gold mining operations in WA. 

About the role:

You'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of fixed plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation of the processing plant.

Key duties:

  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance on crushers, conveyors, mills, pumps, thickeners, and screens
  • Fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical equipment
  • Inspections and component change-outs
  • Contributing to safe work practices and supporting continuous improvement.

What we're looking for:

  • Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
  • Recent fixed plant maintenance experience in the mining industry (gold processing highly regarded)
  • EWP ticket – essential
  • Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets – desirable
  • Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively within a team.
