About the Role

As a
Mortician
, you'll play a vital role in preparing and presenting deceased persons with dignity and care, supporting families during one of the most emotional times in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present deceased persons to InvoCare standards
  • Encoffin and present according to family requests
  • Assist the Embalmer when required
  • Maintain and sterilise mortuary facilities and equipment
  • Perform coffin/casket trimming and engraving
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with orders
  • Accurately complete mortuary registration and documentation

About You

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with grieving families and the deceased
  • Previous mortuary experience and completion of Mortuary Technician's course preferred
  • Physically and emotionally fit to perform the role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence
