Make a difference by serving families with compassion as a Mortician.
This role provides essential services to families across various locations, supporting them during emotional times.
As a Mortician, you'll play a vital part in preparing and presenting deceased persons with dignity and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present deceased persons according to established standards
- Encoffin and present according to family requests
- Assist the Embalmer when required
- Maintain and sterilise mortuary facilities and equipment
- Perform coffin/casket trimming and engraving
- Monitor stock levels and assist with orders
- Accurately complete mortuary registration and documentation
About You:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working with grieving families and the deceased
- Previous mortuary experience and completion of Mortuary Technician's course preferred
- Physically and emotionally fit to perform the role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction
