We currently have special opportunities for the right individuals to work as a Mortician for our location in Brisbane to support our funeral operations by providing best practice and service in the preparation and presentation of deceased.

**Duties**:

- Providing best practice in the preparation and presentation of deceased persons
- Assist the funeral director and be involved in transfers of the deceased
- Encoffin and present the deceased to our standards and according to special family requests
- Provide assistance to the Embalmer when required
- Accurately complete mortuary registration and checking procedures
- Maintain, clean and sterilise mortuary facilities and equipment
- Perform coffin/casket trimming and engraving
- Organise time efficiently and monitor daily work flow
- Monitor stock levels and prepare orders as directed

Skills and Experience:

- Ability to provide exceptional customer service at all levels
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Current Full Drivers Licence
- Mortuary Technician's course is highly regarded
- In a fit state of physical and psychological health to be able to adequately perform the role
