Job Description
As a Finance Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping our financial modelling, planning and budgeting process. You'll be the go-to person for financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting, while also partnering with teams across the business to deliver insights that drive performance.
Job Requirements
You're a commercially minded analyst with a strong foundation in financial modelling and a passion for turning data into strategic insights. You thrive in cross-functional environments and enjoy solving complex problems.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- A degree in Finance, Commerce, or Business (bonus points for additional qualifications in data analytics, AI/ML, or BI tools).
- 5+ years' experience in Financial Modelling & valuation, FP&A and business analysis
- Advanced Excel and cash flow modelling skills.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A sharp eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
You'll work closely with:
- The Finance Team and business unit budget owners.
- External stakeholders including investors and fund managers
This is an individual contributor role with high visibility and impact across the organisation.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating inputs from all departments and ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Maintain and evolve our Corporate Model, incorporating key assumptions and delivering cash flow forecasts that support long-term planning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, operations, commercial, and technology to challenge assumptions and deliver actionable insights.
- Support investment case development, providing financial inputs and modelling impacts on the Corporate Model.
- Streamline reporting and analysis, identifying opportunities to improve processes and enable better decision-making.
- Grow into a broader role, contributing to our data and FIT (Finance, IT & Transformation) program as your understanding of the business deepens.
