Process Operator

For over 20 years, Bidfood has provided quality ingredients to the Foodservice and catering industry in Australia. With 50+ locations and a team over 2,300 nationwide, Bidfood is recognised as one of the country's leading distributors in the industry. An opportunity exists for a skilled and adaptable full-time Line Process Operator at our repacking production facility located in Richlands, Queensland.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Production Manager you'll be required to work within a team to ensure production targets are meet on a daily basis.

Duties:

  • Setting up the production line and carrying out pre-operative checks
  • Receive, inspect and store products upon delivery
  • Duties include unpacking bulk cartons, repacking finished goods into cartons
  • Perform Quality Checks
  • Early starts from 6am and working in a chilled environment (4 – 10 degrees)
  • Perform other related duties as directed by the Production Manager

Skills and Experience:

  • High standard of personal cleanliness and hygiene
  • Able to work methodically, accurately and neatly
  • Physically fit
  • Applicants may be subject to a pre-employment medical
