ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a passionate and driven Ecommerce Account Manager on a maternity leave contract to join our high-performing team and help shape the future of our ecommerce partnerships.
Reporting to the Senior Ecommerce Trading Manager and working closely with the Head of Ecommerce, this is your chance to take ownership of our ecommerce partnerships and make a real impact. As Ecommerce Account Manager, you'll be the driving force behind end-to-end client service; building strong relationships, unlocking growth opportunities, and delivering results that align with our brand strategy.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Client Relationship Management: Take full ownership of key ecommerce partner accounts, using a consultative B2B approach to understand partner needs, optimise brand investment, and drive sales growth.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Senior Ecommerce Trading Manager to evolve trade terms annually, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Marketing & Merchandising Support: Negotiate and support ecommerce partner accounts on merchandising and product launches, aligning with ghd's marketing plans and leveraging partner channels to enhance brand visibility.
- Data Analysis, Reporting & Forecasting: Collect and analyse sell-through and sales-in data from ecommerce partner and online retail accounts to identify risks, opportunities, and actions. Use account knowledge and data to forecast sales, track performance against targets, and proactively address variances.
- Debt Management: Partner with the credit control team to manage account debt levels and ensure financial health across accounts.
- Content Optimisation: Oversee the optimisation of product descriptions, imagery, keywords, and reviews, ensuring all SKU information is accurate and up to date.
- Brand Growth Initiatives: Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility, category share, and overall sales through strategic partnerships and marketing efforts.
- Tactical Execution: Implement strategic support plans to drive growth in line with the growth plan and budget, contributing to long-term success.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with Retail team to roll out SDA standards, monitor execution and report on outcomes. Collaborate to drive sell-out performance and identify opportunities to enhance marketing investment and drive results.
- Brand Visibility Negotiation: Support negotiations with retailers to secure premium brand placement and content opportunities on their websites.
ABOUT YOU
· years experience in ecommerce account management
· Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or sales
· Understanding of ecommerce platforms, their functionality and how it can affect partner behaviours
· Proven success in increasing performance and driving ecommerce KPI's through third parties
· Understanding of digital, social and qualitative online marketing activities and how third party omni-channel business works
· Knowledge of current online marketing trends and best practice
