Product Planning & Market Intelligence Specialist
to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you'll be at the forefront of product planning initiatives — coordinating development efforts, analysing market shifts, and keeping us ahead of the competition.
You'll play a pivotal role in supporting future product development, launch strategies, and coordinating the full product life cycle. Working cross-functionally with Sales, PR & Marketing, Finance, and Customer Operations, your insights and strategic thinking will help guide high-impact decisions that drive our brand and product success.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Planning Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support short-, mid- and long-term future product, pricing and specification development initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
- Product Launch Planning: Contribute to product launch readiness activities. Work closely with Sales, PR & Marketing, and Training teams to ensure successful product introductions.
- Product Life Cycle Management: Track and analyse product performance across different stages of the life cycle. Recommend improvements or end-of-life strategies to optimise portfolio performance.
- Market Intelligence & Insights: Monitor automotive industry trends, market share, customer preferences, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Competitor Analysis & Benchmarking: Conduct in-depth competitor analysis to inform strategic planning and positioning. Provide actionable insights to enhance product offerings, campaigns and incentives.
- Product Planning & Market Intelligence Reporting: Develop and deliver clear, concise monthly reports on product performance, market trends, and competitor intelligence to key stakeholders.
Who You Are
- A strategic thinker with strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Naturally curious, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working across teams and presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with an ability to simplify complex data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in product planning, market research, or a related strategic role.
- Strong command of market intelligence tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Automotive industry experience is a plus.
