About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Architectural Associate to join our team. This role will support the design and documentation process from concept through to delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective coordination with stakeholders. The successful candidate will contribute to the preparation of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation, editing, and revision of technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Interpret project requirements, standards, and codes to ensure compliance.
• Create accurate 2D and 3D models using CAD software for visualisation and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design and technical matters.
• Maintain organised records of drawings, documentation, and project details.
• Support the estimation of time, resources, and materials where applicable.
• Contribute to project coordination to ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline requirements.
About You
You are a detail-oriented professional with strong technical drafting and documentation skills. You are confident using CAD and design software to prepare accurate drawings and specifications, and you understand the importance of compliance with industry standards and codes. You thrive in a collaborative environment, work well with both internal and external stakeholders, and are committed to delivering precise, high-quality outcomes on time.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Proficiency in CAD and design software (e.g. Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Fusion 360).
• Strong technical drawing, drafting, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
