Architectus are seeking an Associate to join our Melbourne Interior Architecture team. In this client-facing, project leader role, you'll be on the tools, overseeing projects from inception to completion, driving delivery outcomes, fostering client relationships and mentor teams across a range of project typologies including Workplace, Tertiary, Health and Living Sectors.

What you'll do:

  • Lead day-to-day project delivery, ensuring alignment with design philosophy and standards
  • Manage client and consultant relationships, contracts, invoicing and communications
  • Develop and oversee project plans, resources, deliverables and quality outputs
  • Review and produce high-quality design documentation, presentations and detailed drawings
  • Identify and resolve project challenges, applying advanced technical knowledge to improve outcomes
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, values-driven studio culture.

What you'll bring:

  • Track record of leading and delivering large-scale, high-quality interior architecture projects across workplace strategy, design and delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to clearly convey design intent
  • Project management and team leadership experience
  • Strong documentation skills across all project stages and an eye for design
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, able to build trusted relationships with clients
  • Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D software competency
  • Advanced knowledge of interior architecture principles, materials, construction methods and relevant codes and standards (BCA/NCC)
