Summary:

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires knowledge of coffee flavors, brewing methods, and drink recipes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve beverages, snacks, and pastries
  • Offer advice to customers on drink choices
  • Operate coffee machines and other equipment
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work area
  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers

Experiences:

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and recipes
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Food Handler certificate

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday, 7am to 12pm or 7.30am to 12.30pm (operating hours may change due to events or members requirements)
  • Casual shifts varies, closed on weekends and Public Holidays

Dress code: Very well presented, non-corporate clothing

Reporting to: Head Barista

Start Date: Immediate start with Hourly Rate of $32
