We're seeking a
Business Development & Account Manager
to join our Melbourne team. This role combines
relationship building, sales growth, client management, and operational coordination
— perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

What You'll Do

Business Development

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, particularly in the
    insurance, restoration, and building industries
    .
  • Attend meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and propose tailored moving and storage solutions.
  • Represent Hire A Mover at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of new opportunities and maintain records in our CRM.

Account Management & Operations

  • Manage relationships with
    existing clients
    , ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction.
  • Conduct
    regular client meetings
    to review performance, gather feedback, and strengthen partnerships.
  • Take and process bookings
    , liaising with customers and coordinating with our operations and warehouse teams.
  • Oversee
    projects from start to finish
    , ensuring smooth communication between clients, packers, and movers.
  • Handle
    administrative tasks
    including quotes, job scheduling, and follow-ups.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services such as packing or storage.

  • Previous experience in

  • Experience in removals, logistics, insurance, or restoration is a bonus but not essential.
  • Must be
    Melbourne-based
    and comfortable working
    in our CBD office
    .
