We're seeking a
Business Development & Account Manager
to join our Melbourne team. This role combines
relationship building, sales growth, client management, and operational coordination
— perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
What You'll Do
Business Development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, particularly in the
 insurance, restoration, and building industries
 .
- Attend meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and propose tailored moving and storage solutions.
- Represent Hire A Mover at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Build and manage a pipeline of new opportunities and maintain records in our CRM.
Account Management & Operations
- Manage relationships with
 existing clients
 , ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction.
- Conduct
 regular client meetings
 to review performance, gather feedback, and strengthen partnerships.
- Take and process bookings
 , liaising with customers and coordinating with our operations and warehouse teams.
- Oversee
 projects from start to finish
 , ensuring smooth communication between clients, packers, and movers.
- Handle
 administrative tasks
 including quotes, job scheduling, and follow-ups.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services such as packing or storage.

- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and follow-through.
- Previous experience in
 business development, account management, or operations coordination
 (B2B or service industry preferred).
- Experience in removals, logistics, insurance, or restoration is a bonus but not essential.
- Must be
 Melbourne-based
 and comfortable working
 in our CBD office
 .
