About the Role

As a Leading Hand, you'll be responsible for supervising and coordinating a crew of skilled workers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of civil works. You'll work closely with the Site Supervisor and Project Manager to meet project timelines and uphold company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of skilled workers on-site - Mobile Plant & Poly Welders
  • Oversee daily operations, including earthworks, pipe fitting, drainage, and roadworks
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site policies
  • Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and assist with planning tasks
  • Monitor productivity and quality of work
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Leading Hand in civil construction
  • Strong background in Dewatering, Poly Welding & or Mobile Plant
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • White Card and relevant tickets (e.g. Poly Mobile Plant Tickets, HR License)
  • FIFO experience preferred but not essential
