Westlink Workforce is seeking experienced Mechanical Leading Hands to join our dynamic team on various projects across Western Australia.

As a Mechanical Leading Hand, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional skills and leadership abilities, overseeing the maintenance and shutdown operations that are crucial to the success of our clients' projects.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Leading Hand, with a strong track record of supervising maintenance and shutdown projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
  • Skilled in the use of various hand and power tools, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Relevant industry certifications or licenses, such as a Confined Space Entry Permit or Elevated Work Platform License
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
