Salary- AUD 108,571-119,893 (Annual Gross)

In the role of Senior Consultant, you will be expected to develop bespoke applications in the mining domain. This role will interface with client and elicit technical requirements, design and develop technical components.

Roles and Responsibilities:

For you to be successful in obtaining this role you will need to be able to perform the following responsibilities:

• Refine requirements based on discussion with client.
• Design and develop the business logic and backend systems of the product
• Design and develop functional, performing and complete APIs
• Develop high quality, well documented, and efficient code
• Build applications according to the design, and provide designers with feedback/suggest tradeoffs when required
• Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks
• Assist in the estimation of stories in the backlog
• Work with a global team in agile environments.
• Use Agile engineering practices to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance the products.
• Ensure high performance of applications and provide support.

Skills /Competencies:

Essential:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a full stack developer
• Extensive experience of developing web APIs using Python Django and ReactJS
• Highly experienced with SQL databases
• Highly experienced with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres preferred)
• AWS hosting and support (at least 1-year experience in CloudFormation, S3, EC2, RDS)

Preferred
:

• Prior application development experience in mining operations.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Knowledge of Agile software development and project management

Additional Skills:

• Excellent customer interfacing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
