About the Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team. This role is Perth based and reports to our Business Systems Team Lead. As our Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing custom business solutions, providing second-level support, and developing integration solutions between systems.

You will need the ability to:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack business applications using modern best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, providing second-level support.
  • Develop integration solutions between systems to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Optimise systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reports, and assist in report development.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to identify application improvements.
  • Maintain clear documentation and version control for technical changes and workflows.
  • Contribute to IT strategy with a focus on custom applications and solutions.
  • Support the IT team with ad hoc tasks as required.

What You Will Bring

  • 3-5+ years' relevant application development experience, ideally within the rail, transportation & logistics industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (desirable).
  • Proficiency in coding languages including C#, .NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET Web API.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
  • Experience with MSSQL, Entity Framework.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
  • Familiarity with KnockoutJS, AngularJS, ReactJS, or Python would be beneficial.
  • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in seeking solutions.
