We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Production Assistant to join our distillery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a growing craft business and develop their skills in the world of spirits production.

About the Role

As Production Assistant, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Your initial responsibilities will focus on:

  • Preparing and fulfilling customer orders
  • Packaging finished products to a high standard
  • Assisting with day-to-day production tasks and maintaining a clean, safe working environment

As you gain experience, you'll have the opportunity to take on more involved responsibilities, including:

  • Preparing ingredients and products for blending
  • Assisting with recipe preparation and production runs
  • Supporting quality checks and record-keeping
  • Representing the distillery at in-store tastings, events, and brand activations

For the right candidate, there's also the chance to progress into hands-on distilling—learning the craft directly alongside our Head Distiller.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, enthusiastic and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude
  • Comfortable with physical work and hands-on tasks
  • Confident and approachable when engaging with the public at events
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety
  • A good team player who's happy to pitch in wherever needed
  • Manual drivers licence preferable

Previous experience in a production, warehouse, brewing, food/beverage environment, or customer-facing role is an advantage, but not essential — full training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
