At Beautiful Minds Therapy Support, we're passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred services that empower individuals to live fulfilling lives. We're currently seeking a compassionate, resilient, and proactive NDIS Support Coordinator to join our growing Mackay-based team.

About the Role:

In this vital role, you'll support NDIS participants to navigate the NDIS system, connect with appropriate services, and build their capacity to manage their own supports. You will be working with a diverse caseload, including participants with complex needs and those living in remote areas. Flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and a strong understanding of the challenges facing these communities are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help participants understand and implement their NDIS plans
  • Coordinate a range of supports including informal, community, and funded services
  • Provide specialist support to participants with complex needs and remote living situations
  • Build participants' capacity for independence and choice
  • Collaborate with families, service providers, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all NDIS guidelines
About You:
  • Experience working with people with disability, including complex support needs
  • Understanding of the NDIS framework, including remote and rural service challenges
  • Qualifications in social work, psychology, community services, or a related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • A trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach
  • Current Driver's Licence and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Willingness to travel to regional and remote areas as needed
