Residential Care/Family Contact Supervision Support Worker

These services include: supporting young people in residential care, youth outreach and family contact supports. Future Focus provides support to young people of varying ages whose families have been and/or are currently engaged with Queensland Child Safety.

Staff Requirements:

All staff at Future Focus must have or be willing to:

  • Undertake a variety of shifts including split shifts if required.
  • Use own vehicle if required and ensure car is adequately insured.
  • Hold an Open Driver's Licence.
  • Complete a National Criminal History Check.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check - Paid (Blue card).
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow card).
  • Hold or be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Have completed or be willing to work towards a relevant qualification within community services.
  • Have completed or willing to complete Hope and Healing training and additional mandatory training upon request.
