About Us

Giant Oak Learning is an allied health clinic with Developmental Educators and other therapists who provide therapy to children and adults. We support children and young people with learning and developmental needs and focus on removing barriers to learning through therapy, assessments and close collaboration with families and schools. The majority of our client base are NDIS participants, with a strong referral base and excellent retention.

The Role

We're seeking an Occupational Therapist to support children and young people with functional, sensory and learning-related challenges. New graduates and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply.You will:

  • Provide assessment and intervention for children and young people (NDIS and private clients)
  • Support fine motor, handwriting, self-care, emotional regulation, attention and school participation
  • Conduct functional capacity assessments and contribute to reports
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools and other therapists
  • Deliver therapy in-clinic and via Zoom/telehealth (including some remote work)

About You

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • New grads: interest in paediatrics and willingness to learn
  • Experienced clinicians: confidence with pediatric caseloads and NDIS (or similar)
  • Strengths-based, family-centred approach
  • Good documentation and communication skills
