The Opportunity This role provides day to day operational and technical ownership of the in vehicle monitoring system rollout. The IVMS Systems Support Manager will manage vendor performance, ensure system health, deliver reporting and analytics, and coordinate installations and training. The successful candidate will take the program from pilot into stable business as usual and lead the continuous improvement of reporting, integration and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the vendor relationship and oversee delivery against service levels
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues with the vendor and internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain reporting and analytics that provide actionable insights for branches and fleet teams
- Coordinate vehicle installations and ensure branches are trained and inducted
- Deliver business as usual processes and checklists for branch and health and safety teams
- Provide technical oversight of integrations including wiring, telematics and event data flows
- Support data integrity and flows between IVMS, telematics, transport management and maintenance systems
- Work with change leads to support adoption and communications across branches
- Deliver a train the trainer program to ensure sustainable local capability
- Maintain privacy, governance and evidence handling processes for footage and analytics
- Translate trial site learnings into national practice and cultural change
Focused Delivery in the First 12 Months
- Stabilise business as usual operations for trial sites and roll out to the wider fleet
- Formalise vendor contract and service level management with regular reporting
- Deliver clear dashboards and reports for fleet and health and safety teams
- Roll out training materials, induction packs and train the trainer program nationally
- Integrate IVMS data into core fleet and maintenance dashboards
- Establish clear processes for footage handling, privacy and analytics use
- Capture and report on early driver behaviour improvements from trial sites
About You
- Experience operating and supporting IVMS, video based driver safety systems or comparable telematics rollouts in heavy vehicle fleets
- Strong vendor management and contract management experience
- Skilled in data and analytics, with ability to produce practical reporting for operational teams
- Experience delivering training and train the trainer programs across multiple sites
- Strong stakeholder management skills across operations, fleet, maintenance and health and safety teams
