Join Maitland Hospital's dedicated Administration Team and play a vital part in supporting patient care
across multiple hospital services.

Where You Will be Based
Maitland Hospital is a modern facility that prides itself on teamwork, inclusivity, and cultural safety. As part of the Administration Team, you'll provide support across a range of hospital departments, including Emergency, Admissions, Outpatients, Switchboard, and more.
You'll also be part of a workplace that actively celebrates community events such as NAIDOC Week, RUOK Day, Carers Week, and Closing the Gap initiatives, fostering a strong sense of connection and belonging.
What You Will be Doing?
In this position, you'll deliver efficient and reliable clerical and administrative support across the hospital. This is a dynamic opportunity to gain hands-on experience making every day unique and fulfilling.
- Acting as the first point of contact for patients, staff, and visitors via phone, email, and in person
- Managing confidential records and filing systems with accuracy and discretion
- Prioritising multiple tasks and meeting departmental deadlines
- Providing flexible support across different hospital units, learning new processes and systems as you go
Building strong working relationships with colleagues and maintaining a professional, respectful approach in all interactions - About you

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in fast-paced environments
