From hosting regular educational evenings at our CBD and St Leonards locations, to working in close collaboration with local Ophthalmologists and the North Shore Medical Centre, we're deeply committed to advancing eye health across Sydney's vibrant business districts.

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Optical Dispenser to join our team. This role is split between St Leonards location and our sister practice in the CBD Perfect Vision.

Perfect Vision is an award-winning optical practice located in the heart of Sydney's CBD, known for our cutting-edge approach to vision and style. With one of the city's most unique selections of high fashion spectacle frames and sunglasses, we combine superior fashion advice with expert technical knowledge to deliver an experience unlike any other.

We are a community of independent optometry practices that are passionate about empowering eye care excellence. National Optical Care has recently merged with George and Matilda, leveraging the combined expertise of our practice community with strong supplier relationships to deliver the very best in patient care, creating opportunities for career development.

About the Role

  • Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses suited to their needs
  • Provide expert advice on lens technologies, coatings and vision solutions
  • Basic workshop tasks e.g adjustments, repairs and quality control
  • Administrative duties such as appointment book management, banking, entering stock and reporting
  • Maintain a tidy practice environment to ensure a positive overall patient experience

About you

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Cert IV dispensing qualification desired but not essential
  • Passion to help others
  • Out of the box thinker to solve complex problems
