As our Security Operations Manager, you'll be the technical lead and escalation point for all things security within our Security operations team. You'll oversee threat detection and response, manage security tooling and vendors, and ensure our clients' environments remain secure, stable, and resilient.

This hands-on role blends leadership, technical depth, and strategic oversight — perfect for someone passionate about cybersecurity and team development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead incident response and threat management across client environments.
  • Provide technical support and escalation for security-related issues.
  • Manage and optimise security tooling and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain and evolve security runbooks and documentation.
  • Mentor junior staff and create career pathways in cybersecurity.
  • Ensure SLAs and response times are met for security alerts and tickets.
  • Drive continual improvement in security operations and client outcomes.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong technical knowledge of firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, AV/EDR/MDR.
  • Familiarity with ACSC Essential 8, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
  • Experience in threat hunting, incident handling, and vulnerability management.
  • Cloud security and central management tooling experience.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
