The Firm

Our client is a mid-sized law firm with offices in Sydney and interstate. It is currently seeking a Financial Manager with experience working in a law firm to join its Sydney office.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager and Managing Directors, and supported by a small team, you will lead the finance function of the firm.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading all financial operations, cash flow, and reporting;
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and commercial decision-making;
  • Partnering across the business to improve productivity and profitability;
  • Oversight of payroll accounting and audits.

About You

To be successful you will be CPA-qualified finance professional with:

  • At least 8 years' relevant finance experience:
  • Significant experience in a law firm/legal services environment
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and purpose-driven approach to work
  • Strong proficiency in excel and ability to work with data
  • Strong communication and collaborative approach to reaching objectives

You must have experience working in a similar role at a law firm to be considered for this position.
