Junior Tekla Detailer
to join our team and begin a rewarding career in the construction and drafting industry.

About the Role:

This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who is looking to start their career in drafting. You will be trained in using
Tekla Structures
software to model and prepare fabrication drawings for steel and precast components, working closely with experienced detailers and engineers in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn to create 3D models of buildings using Tekla Structures
  • Produce detailed fabrication drawings on active projects under supervision
  • Gain understanding of structural steel and precast concrete detailing practices
  • Develop knowledge of Australian standards and construction techniques
  • General drawing office duties.

What We're Looking For:

  • Genuine interest in drafting, construction, or structural design
  • Basic computer skills and aptitude for learning technical software
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Recently completed (or currently studying) a drafting or engineering qualification (TAFE, Certificate, or similar)

Nice to Have (but not essential):

  • Exposure to CAD or modelling software (Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
  • Knowledge of construction or manufacturing processes
