Cabinet Maker / Shop Fitter / Carpenter (Casual – Oct to Jan)

Primary Location: Mulgrave

Start date: Late September

Bestoh Productions is looking for skilled cabinet makers, shop fitters, and carpenters to join our team for an exciting contract role from October through January (approx. 8–12 weeks). For the right person, there's potential to continue beyond this period.

We're an event fabrication company specialising in custom props and structures for some of Australia's biggest events and brands. Our builds are creative, fast-paced, and always unique — no two jobs are the same.

Some of the events we build for include:

  • Australian Open
  • Australian Grand Prix
  • Major music festivals
  • Large-scale exhibitions

Clients we've worked with include:

Canadian Club, Aperol, Chanel, Telstra, Nissan, Victron, Emirates — and many more.

About the Role

You'll work closely with our Head of Production and project managers to:

  • Fabricate and install projects in the workshop and on-site
  • Turn concept designs into buildable, deliverable assets
  • Maintain workshop order, tools, and equipment
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed
  • Help streamline processes for stress-free project delivery
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in carpentry, shop fitting, or cabinet making (incl. site installation)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret plans
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport

Bonus: Leadership experience or willingness to learn new machinery/materials.
